Rihanna Diamonds World Tour

Written by

I - along with a couple of thousands of my closest strangers - headed out to Allphones Arena on Thursday night to see Rihanna shake her groove thing. And shake it she did. She also stroked it, sashayed it and shimmied it. (Especially the first one.) The spectacle was all part of her Diamonds World Tour and despite sounding a little like something Mariah Carey would call her trek around the globe, was raw and edgy and made me want to go out crumping after cut off all my jeans into short shorts and bedazzling my hairline. The woman positively oozes sex on stage; she titillates the audience in such a way you don't even know it's happening until it's happened. That, my friends, is a mad skill.

Her costumes were also a lot racier than I expected, in a ghetto-meets-reggae kind of  way. My favourite included a pair of thigh-high white leather boots which she wore while doing a tribute to 90s mega hit Pony by Ginuwine complete with deep squats surrounded by giant fireballs. I KNOW, RIGHT?! The woman is nothing if not racy. And what the fans wore to see bad girl Riri? Well, here are my top ten looks from the night...
