Visit Melbourne FROM YOUR COUCH!

Written by

Melbourne is known for doing things that are a little left off centre. There are the hook turns, the trams and of course those GIANT BALLS OF STRING.

But this one kind of blows all of those out the water.

This week and this week only you can push around a Melbournian without leaving your house. Yep, there are more than 100 people ripe for the pushing and all you have to do is get onto and tell them where to go. In the first two days of the campaign alone, the remote-control tourists reportedly had 21 coffees, actioned 71 high-fives, handshakes and hugs, took 28 selfies, ate 14 desserts and participated in two kung fu lessons.

I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing a remote-control tourist crash The Project desk... just putting it out there.

If you have a better idea though, get to it quick smart 'cos it all wraps up on Sunday. After that, you'll have to actually go to Melbourne yourself. Imagine!

Check out and boss your own tourist around.
