Cointreau Garden Party

TheEDIT's Emma Markezic is what we in this industry call, "a party starter". It's a technical term, go with it. So when it came time to throw a party for the launch her new blog and our sister site markyknowsbest.com, she whipped up just about the most incredible garden party we've ever seen. Not even kidding - she built her own table and had customised doughnuts. You just can't beat that kind of detail. 

Partnering with Cointreau to get some delicious cocktails happening - guests drank Cointreau Fizz Strawberry and Mint and Cointreau Fizz Cucumber and Basil - Emma gathered a pretty hip group of friends together and served up some summer fun at a private home in Bondi with a side of seriously chic shenanigans. And when we say shenanigans we obviously mean a photobooth. We're suckers for a photobooth. But wait... we haven't even got to the food yet!

Chef Brendan Cato from The Farmed Table whipped up some canapes and share plates which included goats cheese tarts and lamb shoulder, and local outlet Glazed Doughnuts custom-made Cointreau-glazed doughnuts which Emma fashioned into dessert burgers. I know... we can't beleive we never thought of doing that either. Add in singer/songwriter John Vella who set the scene with some tunes and you've got a pretty splendid way to spend a Sunday.

Emma is pretty much Australia's premiere party fairy so you can't really go wrong if you're into things like gold cutlery, dinner parties, crafty DIYs and epic soirees. And who isn't? No one we want to know. There's also a bunch of interiors and travel trends in there for good measure. We dig it. Obvs.
