As far as boy-meets-girl dressing goes not many do it better than Irishman Jonathan Anderson. The up-and-coming designer is the latest talent to be snapped up by Topshop for an exclusive collaboration, which will be available to Aussie shoppers in the Melbourne store from late September and in the Sydney store (um, yep, us Sydneysiders are pretty darn excited about this) when it opens its doors in early October.
The cute collab sees JW Anderson dish out schoolgirl pleated skirts, ridiculously cute knits, varsity jackets, quirky quilted tops and of course a healthy dose of British tartan all styled with a punky twist.

The piece that has got our credit cards all hot and bothered? Definitely those quilted paisley tops. But the real kicker with this collection is that it doesn’t stop just at the threads, no sir-ee bob. Cute picnic rugs, personalised (well, personalised if you’re JW Anderson) coloured pencils, disposable cameras, vintage magazines and a collection of prints were all selected by Jonathan to compliment the collection.
