Once the hallmark feature of cheap mules (as in shoes with no back, not the animal), lucite accessories have come a long way and are now a catwalk regular. Prada was responsible for the comeback a couple of years back, and now the likes of Burberry, Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors have caught on I think it's safe to announce lucite as one of the biggest accessory trends of the season.
I tend to lean towards shoes with lucite deets and jewellery rather than bags. I'm not sure if the contents of my bag (ie. every reciept I've been given in '95 and 12 lip balms) needs to be on display.
