It's encrusted with 50 individual two-carat diamonds, weighs over 13 kilos and comes in at £3.5 million - almost $5.5 million Aussie dollars. Dreamt up by British designer Debbie Wingham it was recently unveiled at Ukraine Fashion Week (following a showing and official launch at the Billionaires' Club in Monte Carlo, of course). And while you might not have heard of her, Wingham has dressed the likes of Kate Winslet, Hilary Swank and Dita Von Teese just to name a few. Although where she found the six months to hand-sew this frock (or the financial backer to fork out for the raw materials) is beyond me. But more power to her - someone has to own the accolade of having created the world's most expensive dress! And if it ever ends up in a museum I've already thought of the gallery title... Debbie Does Diamonds. You're welcome, future exhibition curator.

What do you think? Would you fork out for it? Will anyone...?
