Yeojin Bae’s feminine frocks are so sweet they almost give me, who loves nothing more than not going to the races, a hankering to grab a glass of bubbly and cheer on a mare, stallion or gelding. So I have no doubt that her new pop-up digs at Melbourne’s Collins234 will be rushed by lovely lasses getting amongst it this spring racing season.
It’s always nice for consumers to check out designers collections in full, and Bae’s hometown of Melbourne was an obvious choice for the designer, “The response has been so overwhelming and led to a natural extension of the YB J’AIME line; a beautiful concept space showcasing the full collection” says Bae.
The store is only popping up for a month, so best get your skates on and check it out. My pick is one of those sorbet-y lace numbers. Delish.
