Before we get started on how much I love these pictures of Elle Fanning rocking Rodarte's 2012 couture collection, it really troubles me that someone born in 1998, yeah that's right '98, is so much cooler than me. I mean I had already mastered long division when she was born.

Kate & Laura Mulleavy the American design duo behind too-cool-for-school label Rodarte have been asked to guest editor of the biannual A MAGAZINE, following in the footsteps of fellow creatives Proenza Schouler, Riccardo Tisci and Giambattista Valli.

The idea behind the mag? A MAGAZINE say, 'We invite a guest curator – an international fashion designer, group or house – to develop innovative, personalised content that expresses their aesthetic and cultural values. Each issue celebrates this designer’s ethos: their people, their passion, their stories, emotions, fascinations, spontaneity and authenticity'. Ooh...edgy.
