I'm on a mission to downsize my footprint. Which is hard when you're a regular at Hoarders Anonymous, let me tell ya. One thing I've learned along the way is that products made from wood are infinitely better for the environment than their plastic counterparts. Which is a bit of a no-brainer but until recently it was incredibly difficult to keep your style intact while trying to be simultaneously carbon-aware. But now? You'd be amazed how many everyday objects are made better in wood with a little engineering and a whole lot of design smarts.
One | Wooden Bathtub | POA | Alegna
Two | Beats Headphone Skin | $35 | Lazerwood
Three | The Gato Bamboo Sunglasses | $125 | Proof
Four | Reclaimed Wooden Letters | $35 each | Edie's Lab
Five | Bamboo Keyboard with Mouse | $79.99 | Brando from Bambooki
Do you know what's missing from this list? A wooden car. Are you up for it, Holden? I'd totally cruise the streets in one of those babies. Here's some inspiration I prepared earlier...

I've even got a name in mind - the Holden Splinter. Call me...
