J.Crew Now Shipping To Australia

Written by

Oh yeah. It's on. I am very open and honest about my J.Crew obsession. The styling. The colour. The prints. Jenna Lyons. It's the stuff this fashion editor's dreams are made of. And now the US super-store is shipping to Australia my obsession is only going to get a whole lot worse, and more expensive.

I usually stock up on J.Crew essentials when state-side, but now I can get my greedy little mits on their goodies anytime I want I'm literally losing it. Plus, those clever colour-blocking poppits are offering free shipping until April 30th. If you had plans with me on the weekend, consider them cancelled, I'm now booked out.

A quick cruise has me adding-to-cart these winners...

 jcrew.shipping.to.australia

J.Crew ‘Gondola Stripe’ coat | $683.12

J.Crew ‘Frances Dressin Lifesaver Print’ dress | $483.02

J.Crew ‘Jacquard Dot Pencil’ skirt | $273.25

And this doesn't even include the 234 striped tops I'm planning on buying. Oh goodness...

Get shopping folks, the rent can wait. Visit Jcrew.com.

Are you excited? If you're not, check your pulse.

    Check the prices people!!!!
I have long been a fan of J Crew and when I was living in the US I was a loyal customer of theirs. When I moved to Australia I enquired if J Crew would be shipping to Australia. Initially the answer was no but this changed recently and J Crew launched an Australian site. This was greeted with much excitement by Australians until we realised that we’re being charged up to 50% than US customers. An email was shot off to J Crew customer service who replied telling me they have to cover the costs of operating in Australia. The thing is that they do not operate in Australia in any way, shape or form. They merely post here. Somehow Shopbop.com can manage this without gouging Australian customers. Ditto Saks Fifth Ave. But not J Crew – J Crew apparently believes Australian consumers are stupid and that’s a big mistake, especially considering how cashed up the average Australian is. I’ve started an information campaign so Australian shoppers are made aware that J Crew is trying to rip us off. I have approached J Crew on a number of occasions to discuss this but have so far been ignored. Such a pity.

I also thought it was wonderful that J.Crew were shipping to Australia until I checked their website. They increase their prices by 35% when shipping to Australia compared to their clothing prices when shipping to the US.
